About our Iron Steed HOG Ladies of Harley (LOH) group:
Who are we?
LOH is part of the local HOG chapter. LOH was formed by the National HOG to encourage more women riders to join us. Men HOG members and guests are welcome at all LOH activities too.
To join the Ironsteed LOH, you must first be a member of the National Harley Owner's Group (HOG). Applications for National HOG memberships are available from the Iron Steed Harley Davidson Dealership or online. Annual local chapter fees are currently $20.00. There is no extra fee for joining LOH.

More than simply a group, our local LOH is a place where people who love Harley-Davidson® motorcycles can come together and share their passion to ride. Fellowship is an enjoyable part of our activities. LOH rides are geared for all levels of riders and some are geared towards helping newer riders become more comfortable with their bike, group riding, and various challenges the road tosses our way. LOH values the expertise of all riders many LOH members benefit from learning from their fellow riders. We all have something to learn.

Meeting of the ladies and gents to talk about this year, the rides we would like to see, and a chance to get to know the riders around us a little better. At this meeting we'll also be having a Spring swap meet/trade. We all have Harley clothes, shoes, accessories, motorcycle parts etc that we no longer use or we bought and never actually liked! Bring them and see if someone else can make some use out of them!

The Ride of All Rides:
The leader of LOH for our chapter has decided to put together a 5-day getaway trip. Details are forthcoming about places to stay and the details on cost for this ride. Please keep checking back as more details become available!
Thursday
Ride: Meet at Iron Steed Harley at 9am to ride to Visalia to kick off this amazing 5-day getaway motorcycle vacation! (227 miles)
Hotel: On the first and second nights (June 14-15) of the ride we are going to be staying at the LampLiter Inn. We have gotten a group rate on 10 rooms at $62/night per room. The rooms contain two queen beds as well as the usual hotel amenities. We will also be using a cottage on the premises as a staging area for rides and gathering center.
To get the group rate, mention Iron Steed or LOH.
Also, you MUST book by MAY 31st to get the group rate!Ride: We'll be riding through the Sequoia National Park. Entrance fees into the park are $20 per vehicle. Bring your camera for this one, you won't want to miss capturing the giants on film! (106 miles)
Shuttle: If you do not wish to ride this day, there is a shuttle that comes to the hotel and will take you on a tour into the Sequoias. The shuttle costs $15 and this fee covers the park entrance fee. Reservations will need to be made in advance (by midnight the night before). Shuttle schedule and information here.
Hotel: We will still be in the LampLiter Inn this night. We will move on for Saturday night.
Saturday
Ride: We will either get the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Fun in the Sun Run or we will simply follow the route they take each year. Once we get details about their dates, we'll post on whether we get to do it! (149 miles)
Hotel: After our ride through Pismo, we'll head up to San Simeon. In San Simeon we will be staying at Motel 6 (1-800-466-8356). We have gotten a group rate of $96 for 2 Queen beds. To get the group rate, use Confirmation Number: M121200185.
You MUST book by MAY 17th to get the group rate!
SundayRide: More details will be coming about the ride and the tours but we will be going to Hearst Castle. Tour costs are $25 per person and there are several options. The night tour will not be available during our trip. We will also be leaving San Simeon and heading up the coast on Highway 1 to Monterey where we will stay the night. (100 miles)
Hotel: We'll be staying at Motel 6 in Marina (1-800-466-8356). We have gotten a group rate of $56 for 2 Double or Queen beds per room. Use confirmation number M102600207 to get the group rate.
You MUST book by MAY 18th to get the group rate!
Monday
Ride: We'll be heading home this day and doing so by taking the beautiful coastal Highway 1. Even though it's summer, it's likely to be chilly on the coast, be prepared to bundle up!
