About our HOG Chapter
Who are we?
We are a local chapter of the national organization known as the Harley Owner's Group (HOG) and made up of Harley owners and riders. We are sponsored by the Iron Steed Harley-Davidson Dealership in Vacaville, CA. We are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who meet regularly and plan rides and events. Our Goal in 2012: continue to schedule many rides to provide numerous chances of participation for all our H.O.G. family members. More rides = more fun but our primary goal is to enjoy safe motorcycle riding.
In addition, we also participate in other Harley Owner's group's activities and poker runs. We have an annual Christmas Party that is not to be missed, our crab feed has been a popular success which we look forward to repeating in the new year, and we have lunch, dinner and overnight runs. Above are just a few activities our chapter has supported over the last 20 years. We donate to local charities whenever possible. HOG volunteers spent many hours helping a local food bank over the 2011 holiday season (and previous years) and other MC riders we know individually volunteer to take toys to the Ronald McDonald House in Sacramento, CA during holiday seasons. When and where does the Chapter meet?
Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, currently at the Rockville Inn located at 4163 Suisun Valley Road in Fairfield. (Please see the calendar of events for any change in location.) The meetings begin at 7:30 pm and last until approximately 9:00 pm with a 15-minute break.
To join the Iron Steed Chapter, you must first be a member of the National Harley Owner's Group (HOG). Applications for HOG memberships are available from the Iron Steed Harley Davidson Dealership and at our monthly meetings. Annual local chapter fees are currently $20.00.
HOME IS WHERE THE HOGS ARE
More than simply an organization, our local chapter is a place where people who love Harley-Davidson® motorcycles can come together and share their passion for riding.
Riding together for fun is a great way to get to know fellow chapter members: your ready-made riding buddies.
Simply put, chapters are a family of HOG members gathering at the local level to carry out a simple mission: "To Ride and Have Fun."
